It's pretty simple, I love art.
Ice cream, football, a really juicy spy novel and lazy Saturdays are pretty high on the list too.
I myself am a pretty simple personality... give, love, laugh. I try not to get caught up in the little things.
I grew up on the high plains of northern Wyoming, but moved myself to the beautiful deserts of Arizona to pursue my education in the arts. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Arizona State University and call Tempe, AZ home.
So why art? Well...
Through my explorations of the human form I challenge myself to think critically about the various emotive and physical states that are constantly evolving and changing within our beings. My motivation in painting is to capture the essence of one moment but to also offer a viewpoint – through a body of work – of the fluidity of emotion and of a complex balance of sexuality, empowerment, and the fragility of our human psyche.
